Gcam is a gtk webcam viewer for philips usb webcams. It's goal to support all 
of the features of the linux <a href="http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/">pwc</a>
driver. It can save single shots as jpeg. Currently it only works with the pwc driver and not with other v4l devices.
